Xiaowei Lu

Lu Xiaowei is a member of the China Film Association. In 1968, he graduated from the Second d Middle School of Beijing Normal University. After graduating from high school, he went to the countryside to the team. After ing the army in 1969, he ed the Beijing Army Art Troupe in 1972, successively serving as an actor and a recorder in the repertory troupe. At the end of the Cultural Revolution, he was demobilized and returned to Beijing to work at the Beijing People's Broadcasting Station. He entered the Directing Department of Beijing Film Academy for advanced studies in 1983. Lu started his career as a professional film and television director in 1979.
