Lois Maureen Stapleton (June 21, 1925 β March 13, 2006) was an American actress. She was the recipient of an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Tony Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award, and is one of the few performers to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting.
