The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo (Spanish: La misteriosa mirada del flamenco) is a 2025 drama film directed and written by Diego Céspedes in his feature debut. Set in a remote mining town in northern Chile in 1984, the film follows 12-year-old Lidia as she navigates fear and prejudice when a mysterious illness threatens her queer family and community.
The film is a Chilean-led international co-production with , Belgium, Spain, and . It had its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at the 78th Cannes Film Festival on 15 May 2025, where it won the top prize.
